US Military Boot Camp

Officially called the Basic Combat Training, the boot camp is a ten-week training course that introduces a civilian to teamwork, marksmanship and the basic training to become a soldier. It’s open to anyone of either gender who is mentally and physically fit.

Not likely. I had Pnuemonia and Mononucleosis when I was at MRCD San Diego in 2003. The DI's thought I was just trying to get out of training even though my eyes were half open and I was coughing up gobs of flem every 5 seconds. Before you report in to the post you'll be attending Basic or One Station Unit Training at, you'll report back to the MEPS station (the place where you actually signed your enlistment contract).
