Do you have to pay for a 3g service?

User Avatar
Yes. 3G is the name given to the 'wirelss network' that celluar devices use to access the internet. All wireless providers have a fee for 3G service, whether it seems so or not. Sometimes a company such as T-mobile will offer 3G as part of a wireless plan, but the price will be raised to compensate.

Why is silk more expensive than wool?

User Avatar
Silk is produced by silkworms. They are very small and their silk is consequently produced in very small quantities. It takes much time and effort to process it for commercial use. Sheep are plentiful, and large, and their wool can be processed on an industrial scale, making it very much easier and cheaper to prepare for use in textile manufacture.

What are the Top 10 reasons why cell phones shouldn't be allowed at school?

User Avatar
People shouldn't have cell phones in school I don't think any student should have the ability to be able to use cell phones in school because they can cause distractions. A couple ways cell phones may cause distractions is people can play games on the phone, watch videos, and make phone calls. Over 87% of people play games and watch videos during school hours. Other reasons people shouldn't be allowed to have cell phones in school is because people can text each other for friendus on a quiz or on a test. 73% of students have been caught cheating on a test with a cell phone. Some more reasons I think people shouldn't have cell phones in school is because they can harass each other and cyber bully one another. A percentage of 53% of students bully one another with cell phone. Some students can decide can decide to make a call to their friends to call in a bomb. Only 15% percent of students have called in a bomb each year. Students may also make threats to other people by texting them or calling them. Rumors can be spread with cell phones by texting and calling someone. The final thing you can do with cell phones is invade peoples privacy by recording and taking pictures of what people are doing. Just 20% of students have been caught recording people and taking pictures of people in the bathroom. To sum it up, students shouldn't have cell phones in school because they cause distractions, you can cheat on a test, you can cyber bully one another, and you can invade one another's privacy.

Would you recommend Organic Bouquet?

Absolutely! Very smooth transaction. My mother said they were "the most beautiful roses" she's ever seen. Regular flowers are chemically treated to preserve them. It's dreadful for you and the environment. Organic Bouquet is fabulous.

Would you recommend KaBloom?

User Avatar
I would not recommend KaBloom. The flowers we ordered came in a box and only lasted about 3 days. They were in pretty bad shape. I can get the same flowers from the florist in town for less and the flowers last almost 2 weeks. I think they have a great concept, but the flowers just don't hold up in FedEx shipping conditions. If you have problems with flowers lasting, I'd recommend giving plants instead. You can find them on most floral websites, or consider a plant specialist like www.givingplants.com.

At what moment in the jail-break is Mallory hit and wounded?

User Avatar
The only movie I can think of that fits the ''very'' vague description in your question is Natural Born Killers. It's been a very long time since I have seen the movie, but I found a copy of the original script online. Let's see if I can use it to answer your question. (I'm sure the movie deviates from the original script but I think it's close enough for our purposes here.) '''WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!''' If anyone reading this has not seen the movie you may not want to continue reading... There are actually a couple of places in the film that could fit the scene you have asked about, but they are fairly close together and are near the end of the movie so I'll just try to briefly summarize the plot from the first incident on to the end. There is a scene where Mallory (Juliette Lewis) is about to be transferred to an asylum when she head butts her obnoxious guard, Detective Scagnetti (Tom Sizemore), and breaks his nose. Two deputies beat her with their shotguns then Scagnetti sprays her in the face and eyes with a can of mace. That scene happens right before Mickey (Woody Harrelson) makes his move and steals a gun from his own guards. Mickey holds Scagnetti and a reporter (Robert Downey Jr.) hostage while he rescues Mallory from her holding cell. She shoots Scagnetti, then she and Mickey take off down the jail corridor firing their weapons and using hostages as shields. Mickey gets shot but keeps moving. When they reach the stairs they stop while they try to decide what to do next and notice that Mallory has been shot. Next is the memorable scene where Mickey wraps duct tape around the barrel of his shotgun, sticks the gun under the reporter's chin and wraps more tape around the man's neck, then tapes his own trigger hand to the gun. Mallory does the same thing with her own gun and hostage. Finally, they've escaped and finish up an interview with the reporter/hostage...then kill him before they steal his news van and drive away. I don't know if this is the movie you were referring to, but it is the only one I could come up with. I hope I've been able to answer your question. If not, you might consider posting a less vague question; one with a hint or clue about the movie you're asking about. Mallory is hit and wounded by one of the three surviving prison swat team, in fact its the last shot fired by what remains of the swat team that wounds Her.

How long should you withhold a payment if you are disputing a charge on your account and the dispute is not settled?

User Avatar
You should continue to make min. payments on your account. If you don't, it will effect your credit rating and it is much harder to repair your credit than get a credit for the payment you made from the credit card company. It depends. You have a right to not pay for the disputed amount on your credit card. This is under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I believe. They can not use this nonpayment to negatively affect your credit or your account. (I took a class on this in law school) However, if you already had a balance, you still need to make payments to cover that. Withholding payment only applies to the portion you are disputing.

Can a school charge you money to get your cell phone back?

User Avatar
No, they cannot. If a teacher, principal, etc. takes your phone for a good reason, then they can keep it until the end of the year, if they'd like It IS illegal to look through anyone's phone without permission on any circumstances. Your parents can do it, but that's only if they bought it, etc. and the school cannot charge money to get your phone back, I'm pretty sure that's illegal, too. Answer: NOPE

Can a used cell phone be added on to a cell phone plan?

User Avatar
The answer is yes! You can bring a used cell phone to a plan quite easily. If it's a GSM phone like T-Mobile or Cingular you simply pop in an appropriate Chip (SIM Card) and assuming the phone is not LOCKED to another network - you will have no problem. If it's CDMA you will need to register the new phone with the network and ask them for a phone number for it. For more information on Cell Phone trends see: http://www.mphone.net Answer Be careful doing this though...whether the company provides the phone or not, it WILL add a contract when the new number is created. Answer It is not recommended but can be done. If you want to add an additional line, the best thing to do is get a new phone. It is your only opportunity get get a free phone when your 2 year contract starts. If you don't take advantage of this, you will be out of luck. Also, you can get a nice phone free on any cell phone plan, especially an unlimited cell phone plan.

How do you delete a single call on the iPhone?

User Avatar
Yes, you can. If your iPhone is jailbraked, you can install iLog via installer. It helps you manage your calls/call duration/sms. you can get it here: www.ixtension.com If your iPhone is not jailbreaded, please check this: http://www.ipodrobot.com/blog/delete-single-recent-call-on-iPhone-without-jailbreaking.htm If your phone is not jailbroken as is the case with the new 3.1.3 and baseband 5.12.01 and you can not jailbreak here is an alternate solution. The ipodrobot does not work if you have an apple computer and I have yet to find an alternative via that route. Additionally, this route is free, but only works if you are can set the circumstances. First, plug your iPhone into your computer and synch it to itunes. Once synch is complete, right click (or apple alternative) on the iPhone under the devices on the left toolbar in Itunes. Go down to backup iPhone and select that option. This part is important. Leave the phone plugged in. If you unplug and make the call then plug back in you risk creating a new file and overwriting the backup or having to use an older backup from a while ago that may seem out of the ordinary. Perhaps someone can chime in with a way to keep this from happening, but I do not risk it. At this point, make the call or receive the call. Once the call is complete. Right click on the device again and this time choose the restore from backup option. The backed up file should appear as whatever you have named your device. The process of restoring should take about a minute. Everything will be there...except the call you made.
