What is the best selling food product?
As a vet nurse I have learned that the food depends all on the dog, getting a food from your local supermarket isn't always the best for your dog as it could contain things that gives your dog some stomach issues. Although the packaging looks good and says its high in protein, calcium etc its not always the best. Try heading to your vet and getting food from there 'Hills' 'Science Diet' 'Greenies' are all great types of food formulated for your canines needs. Also if you are going to change the diet of your dog make sure that he will eat it and just slowly change the diet so the body can digest the modification, hope this helped. Thanks Brooke x

Can you sell PDF files on eBay?
Currently (January 2011), you can burn the files to disc and sell them on any eBay site. You cannot deliver PDFs, or any file/document, by electronic transmission if your sale was made on the UK site. The US site has different rules and it is possible to offer PDFs, etc for electronic transmission but only if you created the listing to advertise them using Classified Ad format. Other sites will vary. To check what is allowed and what is not, go to the help section on the eBay site which you intend to use (this is not necessarily your eBay homesite) to create your listings and search for "downloadable media policy". That will tell you all you need to know.
Does eBay give your computer viruses?
It is unlikely that your computer will pick up a virus by you using eBay but when online you should always be very careful what you click, whatever the site. No eBay would not stay in business very long if that were happening. It is possible that a seller or may be even a buyer on eBay to present you with a link that is a virus, eather through eBay messages or your personal eMail.

What is the watch list on eBay?
Your "watch list" is where you put items that you are interested in purchasing. It lets you check out any current bids at a quick glance to see if the price stays within your limit before making your own bid. It's useful for keeping things that you see and like and want to look at again before deciding if you want to bid or not.

What should you do if you suspect an item you won in an eBay auction may be a counterfeit of a brand name item?
First, ask the seller directly whether or not the item is fake. You will have a recorded via email. Check the seller's feedback to see if any other buyers have complained about fake merchandise. Most buyers may not notice, but usually one or two will. If you truly believe the item is fake, dispute your PayPal payment through PayPal and provide photographs, if asked. If PayPal is taking too long, you can call their 1-800 number and inquire what you can do to speed things up. You can lodge a formal complaint at the United States Postal Service website (www.usps.com) because using the USPS to ship counterfeit items is illegal. Notify the seller that you have done this. You will need the return address on the package that the seller sent you. If you want to pressure the seller directly, start sending message to other bidders on the seller's auctions and telling them that the merchandise is fake. Fill out Ebay's online dispute form. Ebay's dispute system is slow and unreliable, however. I would not count on them at all. In addition to the above, UK residents can also contact their local Trading Standards Office for advice.

Who invented socks?
indidns The word 'socks' comes form the Latin word 'soccus'. The soccus was a kind of loose fitting shoe worn by Roman comic actors that could be slipped off easily. When Romans wore 'soccus' with sandals, they removed their sandals when indoors, but kept their soccus on. The ancient Egyptians were the first to sue crude woven socks to protect the feet. Archaeologists have found knitted and woven socks that date back to the fourth century in Egyptian Copt tombs, and interestingly, some of these show signs of having been carefully darned at the heel and toe. The great warrior from Central Europe, Attila the Hun wound brightly coloured stripes of cloth around his legs to protect them in the 4th century, and so did 8th century barbarian warriors. In 1589, the Reverend William Lee of Nottinghamshire, England invented a machine that could knit socks out of cotton, wool and silk. William took his invention to the curt of Queen Elizabeth I to try and get a patent for it but the Queen refused to grant one, as she was afraid that the machine would put thousands of women who hand knitted for a living out, of work. Even today moccasins with a distinctive 'seam' on the upper part are very popular.
