What does seeding mean in torrent?
The people sharing & connected to each other using the bit-torrent protocol are split into 2 categories. SEEDS(uppers) & LEECHERS(downloaders) In the begining while downloading a torrent for the first time you are a leecher because the download hasn't completed. When it completes you switch to a seeder and dedicate that stream to simply uploading. The more seeds available the faster the download. Seeding is the process of connecting to a torrent when you have a complete file. Yes it is important to seed 1 to 1. The more seeders there are on a torrent the faster the torrent is. You are not downloading the torrent from the actual site you get it from. You are downloading it off another user that has it on their computer. Let's say someone uploads a torrent to a site and that person seeds at 100kbps. At first every single leecher is trying to get the file from the uploader which if there are 10 leechers then each leecher is approximately getting the file at 10kbps. Let's say the 10 people finish downloading the torrent from the uploader. Each also is seeding at a speed of 100kbps. That means the total speed of the torrent after the 10 get done downloading the file is 1100kbps. Because 10 are seeding at 100kbps and the original uploader is seeding at 100kbps. So if there are 11 more leechers getting the file now each of those leechers are approximately getting the file at 100kbps instead of 10kbps because there is a 1 to 1 ratio per seeder & leecher. If everyone just downloaded the file from the uploader and stopped seeding without seeding the torrent 1:1 then the uploader will always be stuck seeding. Which the speed of the torrent will hardly go up because the leechers will always outnumber the seeder. So it is important to seed back at least what you take. So if you download a file that is 1GB then seed back 1GB. That is why it is called FILE SHARING. People are considerate enough to share their stuff you can repay them back by seeding back what you take so others can enjoy it as well.

However, Hard Drive Manufactures round this to 1000MB in a GB, so you only get 18200MB. by putting an i in the middle (e.g. Mib) you specifically define the 1,024 step, not the 1,000 rounding (so 18.2GB = 18,636.8MiB and 18,636.8MB and 18,200MB) By the way, MiB is Mibibytes, whereas MB is megabytes!
Why would your computer freeze up after defragmenting the hard drive?
Moved Files One reason may be because files were moved and your computer needs to be restarted cause the computer was reading the files and they all of a sudden moved. Physical Faults One possible reason for this is that your hard disk is developing physical faults. Sometimes these faults may not be picked up by tools like ChkDsk however chkdsk is a good place to start I would advise using the /r option. There are other free tools around that can help you identify Hard disk Faults like "Drive Fitness Test". If any of these tests show that the hard disk does have faults it should be replaced as soon as possible. Software is available that will enable you to clone the faulty drive onto a new one. put your computer in SAFE MODE.THEN DEFRAG. Check your hardware in device manager and see if there are any conflicts,(yellow ? marks), beside your display adapter, your monitor, and your sound drivers), sometimes a driver can become corrupt and you may need to update it. Also The defrag could have defraged a file in your registry that is no longer used, I recommend buying Registry Mechanic, this will fix any errors in your registry that can also cause freezing. One last thing, go into safe mode, and do a scan on your hard drive for errors, make sure before you do the scan make sure the box is checked for,"automaticaly fix errors". Then when that's all done, do a defrag in safe mode. Like you I have had problems defragging, but I think that in my case it was something wrong with the defragger, as when i did it 2 weeks ago, then my computer crashed doing this, i restarted, 'Cannot Find Hard Drive', so then it went to a comp shop they fixed it, did disk defrag again, then computer restarted with the same problem, then it started to go through, 'Used Clusters' 'Unused Clusters' 'Bad Clusters' then here it takes forever to do then the computer frooze, so i turned it off, went and bought a new computer ANSWER Your problem is either a driver, harware or heat issue. Try updating chipset drivers with the original that came with your motherboard if it doesint work update with windows update to get the a signed driver, check to see if your hdd is running hot if you cant touch it get rid of it, update your bios if this occurs when you have just changed your hdd, disable the s.m.a.r.t function in bios if your hdd is older than 9 years old and lastly has i have seen enough before your video card is failing, change it. What is the difference between a CD-R and CD-RW?
RW stands for ReWritable. With a CD-R you can't put anything on it more than once. You add songs to it once and that's it. It is how it is, you can't do anything else with it. You can reuse a CD-RW. Say I had a song on there, but it messed up. I can either find it in my computer and delete the song and then put the right one on it. Or i can add the right one along with the wrong one.
