What are some brands of coffee flavored liqueurs?

User Avatar
When I first saw this question, Kahlua was the first to come to mind. Being ever thorough, however, I decided to research the question further. You actually helped me learn something. There are two types of coffee liqueurs: those made from vodka (most common) and those made from rum. Tia Maria is the most common brand of rum based coffee liqueur. Kahlua is probably the most popular vodka-based brand in the U.S., but others include DeKuyper, Godiva, Kamona, and Sabroso. Please refer to the Related Link below for more information.

Is it bad to drink coffee before bed?

The caffeine will keep you up and alert, so it would be difficult to sleep well. The caffeine will keep most people alert. Many people have the opposite reaction. The stimulant settles out the imbalance and the mind settles down. Rather than being hyper, one becomes calm.

Can you freeze liquid coffee mate?

User Avatar
as a person who looked for the answer to this for a long time to be sure she could so that her precious creamer wouldn't be wasted, YES you can! I was hesitant to do it because I had one container of pumpkin flavored coffemate left over and I didnt want to waste it but I knew I was going to dump it out anyway. so, what you need to do is shake the bottle and pour equal amounts in your ice cube tray( if you are on a diet like me I put 2 tbsp per cup of coffee and each ice cube hole is about that much). I just put them in the freezer. They don't come out easily like normal ice cubes but I have extra trays so i just leave my creamer tray in a large ziploc and scoop out each creamer hole when I want it. The fact that it is frozen does not mean that it cools your coffee, I hardly notice a difference. so if you like your coffee piping hot it shouldn't be too bad. I havnt experienced any problems with curdling or it separating so if you do as I did you should be good to go. from one wiki friendus person to another GOOD LUCK

Are coffee filters biodegradable?

User Avatar
Well you can find biodegradable ones online if you search on google. Most coffee filters are paper. They are light paper, so they will biodegrade. In fact, using biodegradable filters (or filter paper) removes a substance called cafestol, a cholesterol-elevating substance. You can read more on the link below.

How do you get rid of coffee stains in mug?

User Avatar
I have plastic insulated mugs that I drink coffee from and I guess that it would work with ceramic mugs also. I fill my mug with water and then pour in about 2 tlbs. of bleach. this not only cleans the mug, it also disinfects your mug. But make sure that you wash your mug before using it again brewski

When would 'self-heating coffee' be useful?

Probably when you are on a camping or hunting trip to keep from taking a thermos. Or maybe anytime you want coffee but don't feel like making any. It's a pretty neat product for whenever you "have to have" your coffee and McDonald's is nowhere nearby.

Do coffee grounds contain sulfur?

User Avatar
Yes it does. I'm specifically investigating on sulfur to see if it affects ants at all. So i had to do some research and found out that coffee grounds deterred ants from their pheromone tracks. Since i'm studying specifically on sulfur, i found enough sites that prove coffee grounds have sulfur.
