Asked in Cheetos
How long is the shelf life of cheetos?

6 months is the average shelf life under normal storage
conditions. They don't taste too bad for up to about a year. In our
fire station house fund, a box with a bunch of sealed small cheetos
bags was misplaced so that we didn't eat them for a couple of
years. They not only had a bad texture, something had changed in
them chemically and they had a horrible sour flavor. We couldn't
even give them away.

Is flaming hot Cheetos halal?
Asked in Cheetos
Do hot Cheetos contain pork?

It appears they do. FritoLay lists products "made without
porcine enzymes" and products "certified kosher," but the Cheetos
Flamin' Hot Cheese Flavored Snacks are not listed under any of
those pork-free categories.
no
yes you can call the number on the back of the bags and they
will confirm my answer.
Nope.
Some flavors of Cheetos, Doritos, Lay's Chips, and Sun Chips use
pork enzymes to develop 'unique flavors'.
See SPOTLIGHT HALAL: Frito-Lay (Cheetos, Doritos, Fritos, etc.)
for information on what Frito-Lay snack products contain pork
enzymes and which don't.

Yes they have pork in them
The ingredient list doesn't list any specific pork product but
they do use the vague term, "natural flavoring". We can only guess
what that might be. See the link below for the ingredient list for
this product.
Yes i called the company today and Muslims cant eat pork so hot
cheetos contain pork enzymes the only hot cheeto that is safe to
eat is the cheese
Asked in Cheetos
Why are hot cheetos bad for you?

Hot Cheetos have an acid in them which makes the inside of your
large intestine peel off. If you eat too many, you could end up in
the hospital! Hot Cheetos contains red spicy animal powder fat,
food coloring, and fatty cheese that makes you gain a lot of
weight. Not only hot Cheetos are fattening, but also they make you
grow red pimples.
