How can you audition for Shiver?
shiver only as a screenplay written up right now, and haven't yet started the auditions. I would love to have a part in the movie considering I've read all the books so far except for forever. I don't even care if it's a small one. I'd just sugest listening to the radio and watching T.v, and even looking on line for the suditon listings. It's super hard to find where the auditions take place, and whats more is that if the auditions are somewhere far away you will need the money to get there. So good luck.

Is Eula Talent Unlimited in Atlanta is Legit?
It is Legit! and the best thing that has ever happen to my child. If your trying to audition for the biggest agencies, managers and casting directors across the United states like Ford, Disney, Nickelodeon, NY model management and many more, These people only scout from this facility when they come to GA. They also send you out for castings. They won Agency of the year at EXPO convention last year and school of the year from the US commerce association. Plus there not trying to get in your pockets, just look for talent but, you do have to audition just to get in and that's the hard part. I have waisted money all over wish I would have found Eula along time ago. Wish you luck.

Are there any auditions for 13 year olds either singing acting or musical theater mainly in the North West of England Blackpool Manchester Liverpool?
Manchester is one of the UK's major centres for performing arts so there are auditions going on most of the time. Any reference to specific auditions here will be outdated very quickly but here are a few ideas to help find them. First, scan the Manchester Evening News on a regular basis for open auditions. The adverts tend to be small so a careful search is needed. Other local news publlications can turn up opportunities as well. Second, get involved with performing arts groups. There are many commercial acting, dance and singing school in and around Manchester but some can be very expensive. Try getting in touch with the local community centres and the council to find out what publicly funded arts and drama groups are in your area. Some of them will have auditions for their own productions on a regular basis. Others will frequently get information about auditions which they will pass on to students and group members. Finally, keep talking to people who are involved in drama and performing arts. It is important to listen for any information that people may have. The closest contacts you are likely to have as a teenager will be the staff in the school's music, drama and media departments. It's always worth talking to the teachers but don't forget the technicians that work in the departments. They often have interests outside the school and will be happy to pass on information to students who show an interest. As well as needing a little luck, remember that it's about hard work as well.

To whose attention do you send the resume?
Here's advice published by Resume Edge (they're an online consulting group that charges about $100 to professionally rewrite resumes and cover letters): Personalize the greeting (Dear Ms. Smith). Try to get the name of a person whenever possible. A blind advertisement makes that impossible, but in other cases a quick telephone call can often result in a name and sometimes a valuable telephone conversation. When you can't get a name, use Dear Recruiter, Dear Hiring Manager, Dear Search Committee, or Dear Sir/Madam. For more of their advice on writing cover letters, see the link to the right.

Is there an audition hot line?
There is probably an articles worth to be said on this... The short answer is "yes", there are audition hotlines. One is by Disney, and I think it's safe to say that it's a legitimate one. You should also know that there are many bad people out there who enjoy taking advantage of people's dreams. If a person is offering you a great job or a fabulous opportunity over the phone, you should be cautious. 1. Is the company a "known company", like Disney, or one you've never heard of? 2. Are you being asked to apply by providing the person with all your personal identifiers? Remember, that most companies do not take all that data over the phone. 3. Are you being asked for credit card information, or asked for an "interview fee", or being asked for any form of payment for anything? Real jobs do not ask you to pay them. 4. Are you supposed to meet the person at some location besides the corporation's office, either in your own town, or out of town? You should, if you go through with this, make sure a friend comes along. And know that most corporations do not have "interviews" in coffeeshops, they have them in their offices. One could go on all day. The old rule is, "If it sounds too good to be true, it is." Corporations must be registered in the state they are incorporated in. They should have addresses, phone numbers and staff. They should not mind honest verifications of their status. Good luck, and be careful.
What are some good colleges for individuals interested in theatre?
There are many good theatre colleges throughout the nation, one of the ones I am more familiar with is Brenau University in Georgia. Columbia University has a good arts (theatre) program. NYU has a great program ... obviously, since they're near Broadway!! Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois (in the Chicago area) has many famous graduates, as does Depaul. Azusa Pacific University has a great theater program with a Christian emphasis. Yale has a great theatre program. Otterbein College in Columbus, Ohio also, if you are thinking about a smaller, liberal arts school. See the link below for a list of schools.
