What is your experience with zambid.com?

**WARNING** Last night, I decided that I was going to win an iPad no matter what it took... I bought $90 worth of bids and decided that I would not stop bidding until I won. After watching the site for about a week, I found that the average selling price of iPads was $90-$120. I figured that I would pay no more than $150 for it. Literally, I bid from 10:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m., eventually spending $150 in bids, before the system "lagged out" and had someone else win. By that point, the bid was up to $265 (unheard of for zambid.com). Based on readings from other forums, the site hires people to bid and YOU WILL NEVER WIN. It is an absolute SCAM!

How long does standard shipping take?

Well normally 3-5 business day that's what my monitor says. Otherwise if it doesn't come in 3-5 than wait 7 hope this helped :) i wish it took 1-5

**Also, it depends on the quickness of the shipper. If they ship quickly, you should receive it a little earlier than the estimated time frame.**

Movies
Amazon.com

Is it a good idea to order movies used on amazon?

Yes, I would definitely recommend buying used movies from amazon. I have done it many times, and I have never had a problem. The used copies are much, much cheaper than the new copies, and many of the so-called "used" copies are in fact brand-new; never even been taken out of the plastic wrapping. They're only called "used" because someone bought them and then returned them, without watching them.

However, I would only buy used copies that are listed as "Like New" or in "Excellent" condition. I would not buy any that are listed as in "Very Good" condition, "Good" condition, or "Acceptable" condition. I've actually never bought a movie that was in less than "Excellent" condition, but I wouldn't want to risk it.

If you buy a movie that is supposed to be in "Like New" or "Excellent" condition, but it arrives scratched or otherwise damaged, then you can return it, since it is not in the condition that it was advertised to be in.

Also, don't buy movies from sellers who have less than a 95% customer approval rating. I typically only buy from sellers who have a 97% or higher approval rating, but if I see a really great price from a seller with only a 95% approval rating, I'll usually buy it.

Is eBay or Amazon better in prices?

Ebay (Half.com) is much better for low cost books.

Let me compare the the benefits of Half.com, a subsidiary of Ebay, from both the buyer's and seller's perspectives.

The Buyer's Perspective:

On Half.com, you could buy a book at a base price of $.75 and then you can pay the media mail rate ($2.38) for shipping for a total of $3.13.

On Amazon.com, you could buy a book at a base price of $.01 but you must pay a flat $3.99 shipping fee for a total minimum of $4.00.

The buyer wins on Half.com

The Seller's Perspective

Half.com provides a full shipping reimbursement and charges sellers a flat commission ($.10) per copy sold. For a book that sold for $.75, the seller makes $.65.

Amazon.com provides a a $3.99 shipping reimbursement but then a commission that is based on some complicated formula that is at least $2.99. For a book sold on Amazon.com for $.01, the seller gets from Amazon about $1.01, which is not enough to cover the cost of shipping for that $.01 book. although the Amazon system can be quite fair for more expensive books, this system is very difficult to sell penny books. Making things more complicated, the USPS raised its rates but Amazon won't raise its shipping reimbursement.

****I personally prefer Amazon.com. It just seems better to me.****

Where can you buy air conditioning equipment online?

I found a company called askarepairtech.com. You can buy a new a/c unit or furnace from them at contractor pricing. They also sell parts for both. I called because my furnace wasn't working and I spoke to a technician on the phone for 20 bucks and he was able to diagnose the problem. I purchased the part through them and they shipped it to my door. It took me about a half hour to install the part and I saved myself probably $200.00.

Also you can research eBay and some popular classifieds sites. Congratulations for saving 200 bucks!

Try to visit eBay, amazon or some online classified ads.

What is Amazon.com?

Amazon.com is a global website where thousands of merchants sell products through Amazon.com, Amazon Marketplace, and their many subsidiary businesses. In addition, there are sister sites in Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK.

They also offer the following:

- Commission opportunities through the Associates program

- Authors can self-publish through them

- Businesses can advertise on the site

- Merchants can sell products on the site and have Amazon manage the fulfillment by sending them the inventory to ship to the customer

Amazon.com is a full online retail store center. It allows anyone to buy or sell books, movies, clothes, toys, etc. The website consists of virtually more products than in probably any Walmart Retail Stores. You can search for any product and instantly you will find out who is selling it and how much it costs. Not only that but Amazon has the best prices in the market on many items. I have used Amazon for many years now and I have never had any problems with it. It is practically the same thing as eBay accept you don't bid, and they are all new products, unless you click "buy used".
It's an ecommerce site for sellers as well as Amazon co

Meeting deadlines saves money, cuts costs, and saves time. The importance of meeting deadlines has far-reaching consequences in organizations. Business leaders must calculate the affect of not meeting deadlines on the profitability of a business. [ These calculations must include a panoramic view of all business processes.
